Ocean Mist is a super-sized North Myrtle Beach home neatly divided into four separate rental villas. Each has two bedrooms and two half baths (one with a shower). Its oceanfront location in the popular Cherry Grove community is no small perk. The wide, white beach and its ever-changing tides are, quite literally, the backyard of this big, happy beach house. Oceanfront sunrises are especially worthy of note. Even if you’re not an early riser, choose at least one day to get up and watch. After Mother Nature’s morning show, you can always go back to bed or – better still – take a long, lazy nap on the beach. Each of these charming accommodations offer a small, but practical, kitchen, an adjoining dining area and a comfortable living room. There’s a television and a DVD. A washer and dryer makes short work of a day’s sandy laundry. And there’s a outdoor grill and an outdoor shower. A special plus is pets who weigh less than forty pounds are allowed with a $300 refundable security deposit or a valid credit card on file before check in. Bikers are welcome but motorcycle trailers are not permitted. Church and student groups with a minimum of six people are invited to enjoy Ocean Mist's amenities at a per person rate of $250 with a $1,000 refundable security deposit. Beyond a swimsuit and a towel, not much is needed for a full day of sun and fun on this wide North Myrtle Beach shoreline. Don’t miss a chance to take an easy walk to the nearby Cherry Grove Pier. There’s a lot of history to soak in. If you fish, it simply cannot be overlooked. But it is also a fun place for a leisurely stroll over the breaking waves for the views and the bliss.
