This non-smoking vacation home sits on stilts alongside a salt water channel and a pristine salt marsh. The views are nothing shy of peaceful, and fishing off the floating deck is said to pretty darned terrific. There’s a boat ramp, too, so do bring yours along if you can. Poking around the channel and marsh offers glimpses of a side of the Grand Strand few visitors get the opportunity to enjoy. Off Duty is a place for making memories. Modern conveniences are included when you stay at Off Duty, including a full kitchen with dishwasher, where you can prepare gourmet meals with fresh seafood or whip up easy lunches and snacks. Host a family barbecue with the outdoor grill, and then eat at the outdoor picnic table overlooking the channel. There’s a washer and dryer for managing laundry. (It’s an amenity you’ll love even more when you are able to head home with clean clothes.) And, of course, there’s a television and a DVD player. The five-bedroom, four-bath beach house comfortably accommodates a dozen people and is only a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean; walking to the beach is a no-miss proposition. If you stumble onto a rainy day, sitting and reading or sitting and talking on the covered and furnished porch is as peaceful as you might imagine. Last but certainly not least, it’s important to note that Off Duty in North Myrtle Beach is wildly convenient to nearby family amusements and attractions like miniature golf, parasail adventures, fishing charters, live entertainment and approximately one hundred championship golf courses. Go ahead and make mental preparation, packing up and heading home is not going to be an easy endeavor.
