A 750,000 gallon tank on a 330-foot moving glide path is surrounded on all sides by giant sharks as they pass through Dangerous Reef. Another entertainment feature at the Myrtle Beach Aquarium is Ray Bay, exhibiting a variety of rays from several viewing levels and Friendship Flats, where guests can get up close and personal as they touch a variety of Rays including: Atlantic Rays, Southern Rays, Cow-Nose Rays, Spotted Eagle Rays and Bonnet-Head Sharks.

Children especially enjoy the hands on experience of picking up a horseshoe crab or stroking a stingray in the Sea-For-Yourself Discovery Center. Dive shows and marine education classes are presented hourly throughout the day.
